The Institute for Astronomy Weather App provides quick access and a clean display of real-time data and images taken from observatories at the summits of Haleakala and Mauna Kea in Hawaii.

Features include:
- Current weather conditions at multiple stations, including the Canada France Hawaii Telescope, the Caltech Submillimeter Array, and NASAs Infrared Telescope,
- Live web-cam images of the Haleakala and Mauna Kea summits,
- All-sky camera feed used by the Pan-STARRS project,
- 24 and 48 hour weather trends in temperature, humidity, visibility, and more,
- Six-day Mauna Kea forecast, provided by the Mauna Kea Weather Center,
- Infrared, water vapor, and visible weather satellite animations for the regions including Hawaii and the greater Pacific Northeast regions.

This app was developed by Micah Lau with mentors Cindy Giebink and Dan OGara as part of the Akamai Workforce Initiative, partnered with the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy at Pukalani, HI.
